A quirky gem of a debut which is as uplifting as it is gently enlightening... a thoroughly absorbing, intelligent and audaciously original book.

This novel was such a lovely and moving read! I honestly didn’t expect to experience so many emotions while following Casey, Danny, and Ari’s journey... So, if you are looking for a book that stays with you even after the last page, this is it! You won’t regret it!

Read it slowly and take it all in - there is a lot of knowledge and information to gain from this thesis of a book and a great empathy for the human condition - with all its flaws.

I thoroughly loved this book. You truly feel like you are going along on this journey with them and the historical themes throughout are different and very interesting and you find yourself mulling over some of the facts and end up coming away knowing things you didn’t know before.

THE SCOOP VIRTUAL ONLINE ‘Social Distancing’ LAUNCH PARTY!

7:30 PM
On all good social media platforms…

Cat Walker’s debut novel, The Scoop, will be launched on March 26th 2020. Join in this ride of a lifetime, described as the lesbian Bridget Jones meets Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. Called “a wonderful tale of journeys, both geographical and emotional, that will keep you entertained at every turn” by local comedy genius Zoe Lyons.

Due to the coronavirus outbreak and social distancing measures put in place in the UK we have regrettably taken the decision to postpone the physical launch party planned for The Scoop.

Instead we will be gathering virtually on social media to celebrate Cat’s hard-won achievement in finally getting her debut novel, The Scoop, published.

So pop your champagne corks, open that bag of peanuts you were saving for when your aunt came round, and please join us at 7.30 on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for:

  • A sneak peak excerpt from The Scoop

  • Some highlights from the blog tour book reviewers

  • A live #ChatwithCat on Twitter
